Eva Ngigi-Sarwari

Eva Ngigi-Sarwari is the Country Leader for Visa in Kenya. She joined Visa in 2020 from SC Ventures by Standard Chartered Bank where she successfully oversaw a number of strategic initiatives across East Africa.

Eva has served in many senior and leadership roles within the banking sector at Co-operative Bank, CFC Stanbic and Standard Chartered Bank, where she spent 8 years, before being appointed as the Head of Transaction for the Commercial Banking business in East Africa, responsible for driving revenue and growing market shares.

Eva’s extensive banking background and strong business acumen are vital assets in driving Visa’s digital transformation agenda and their traditional card business.

Eva holds an MBA in Strategic Management from the University of Nairobi and a bachelor’s degree in Marketing Management from Moi University. Driven by her passion for designing and delivering cutting edge solutions, Eva has successfully completed the Fintech Program at the University of Oxford Business School and received a postgraduate diploma in Digital Business at Emeritus.
